We arrived at Victoria Falls by flight from Johannesburg yesterday, Sunday, July 7, 2024.
We rented a car that we had booked months ago and headed to the apartment we had also reserved a while back. Everything went smoothly, even without internet, and the place hosting us until Thursday is simple and clean, with a marvelous garden and a shared kitchen equipped with everything needed for cooking.
Today, we visited the waterfalls, and I can’t adequately describe the energy they exude! It’s a fantastic place—words fall short; you have to experience it.
Here in Zimbabwe, nearly everything is paid for in US dollars, and prices are similar to those in Europe, which can be expensive for the South Africans traveling with me.
Nevertheless, it’s worth every dollar.
